I am a Soft Pastels artist who draws inspiration from the beauty of nature. Some of my earliest childhood memories consist of paper and pencils. I'd enjoy nothing more than copying a scene from a book, whether that was an Owl perched on a fence or perhaps an enchanted forest from a children's book! I still find myself using photo's as a reference to transform them into stunning artwork. Some of my greeting cards will feature my unique creations. Each card is a testament to the harmony between art and nature. Additionally, I am open to taking on commissioned projects, where I can bring someone's vision to life through my artistic skills. Whether it's a landscape, a floral arrangement, a portrait or any other natural element, I strive to capture its essence and translate it onto paper with soft pastels. My artwork is a reflection of the intricate details and vibrant colors found in the world around us.

Nature-inspired Art
I find great joy in seeking inspiration from various sources, such as a visit to the coast or a leisurely walk through woodland. The experience of immersing myself in the natural surroundings, absorbing the unique smells, sights, and sounds, fuels my creative spirit. I am particularly drawn to capturing these moments through photography, using my own pictures as a reference to recreate the essence of those memories in my art. By infusing the images with my own perspective and artistic interpretation, I am able to transport myself and others back to those cherished moments in time. Through my art, I aim to evoke the same emotions and sensations that I experienced during these unforgettable encounters with nature.
Commissioned Artwork
It all started when I was younger and realised my talent for capturing the essence of well-known individuals on paper using graphite pencils. However, as the demand for my drawings grew and my family, I decided to take a break from it. It was during the first lockdown that I found solace in art once again. My hubby had bought me some Pastel pencils and a few sticks for Christmas. (Eternally grateful for his love and support) I decided to surprise my aunty by creating a portrait of her Bonny dog as a gift. Witnessing her overwhelming joy and tears of happiness brought me immense satisfaction. It was in that moment that I realized the power of art to bring comfort and happiness to others. Since then, I have dedicated myself to bringing joy to people through my commissioned artworks.
